A new book explores the link between a pair of iconic tri-state rockers: Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel. Bridge and Tunnel Boys: Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, and the Metropolitan Sound of the American Century follows the rise of both Springsteen and Joel in the 1970's, and how they “forged a distinctive sound that derived from his unique position on the periphery of the Big Apple.” Bridge and Tunnel Boys will be out Oct. 13th.
