A mysterious object suspected to be the remains of a wrecked ship washed up on a beach in Daytona Beach, FL as a result of erosion from last years hurricanes.
It’s not exactly a surprise that these shipwrecks turn up occasionally on the Florida coasts, as history will remind us of the immeasurable volume of ship routes near the American state and in the Caribbean.
Beach safety officials warned the public to keep a safe distance from the object. A research team is planning to visit the site today to examine the apparent wreckage.
