Metallic has decided to tap into their "Stranger Things" mode by replicating a moment from the hit show during a new lyric video for their album Master of Puppets.
The video's ominous lighting is reminiscent of Stranger Things' Upside Down, where character Eddie Munson jammed out to Kate Bush's Running Up That Hill to divert a swarm of bats from the show's heroes as they faced a confrontation with the villain Vecna.
Metallica's video shows a man entering a labyrinth, lighting, hands pulling strings like marionettes, rows of crosses resembling the Master of Puppets album cover, and a duelist holding a sword poised to start a fight of his own.
When the title track was released, it instantly became a classic and has since evolved into the band's most well-known song.
