One of the victims of late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein said his confidante "must die in prison."

Sarah Ransome made that comment about 60-year old Ghislaine Maxwell, before she was sentenced to 20 years on Tuesday for helping Epstein abuse underage girls, some of whom were found and recruited from Palm Beach area high schools.

Ransome was in the New York federal courtroom.

"I have spent the last 17 years in my own prison for what she, Jeffrey and all the co-conspirators did to me. I was raped repeatedly. I was raped three times a day sometimes."

West Palm Beach attorney Spencer Kuvin represents nine Epstein victims and tells CBS 12 News that Ransome will likely get her wish.

"Essentially a 20-year sentence for Ghislaine Maxwell is a life sentence. She will not be leaving prison until her late seventies at the earliest."

"I Think at the end of the day what this sentence does is it shows you that no one is beyond reproach. This sentence shows you that no matter your wealth or station in life that you can be and will be convicted for your crimes and put behind bars, hopefully for the rest of your life."
