VIDEO: Massive "Stampede" of Dolphins in California

Check out this incredible video caught by tourists on a charter boat off Southern California!

The tourists were headed on a whale watching tour from Dana Point Whale Watching at the Dana Wharf in Southern California. However, the tourists were blown away when they got to see a “dolphin stampede” of as many as 1,000 of the mammals.

Although native to the waters, it is not very common to see such a large 'mega pod' of these dolphins. It's said that the dolphins take off so rapidly that they turn up the water making it white water, and you can hear them swimming through the rushing water!

How cool?!
