If "you are what you eat," maybe you are also what you drink, because a 39-year-old Florida man named was arrested on Tuesday night (6/20/23) while appropriately drinking a "Florida Man" beer.
There's a brewery in Tampa called Cigar City Brewing that makes a beer called "Florida Man." It's a pale ale that's 8.5% alcohol.
39-year-old Seth Thomas was reportedly yelling at cars while walking through traffic in Seminole, Florida, near Tampa. Seth was sippin' on an open can of Florida Man when authorities showed up.
Cigar City Brewing's website says it's brewed with a "nearly criminal amount of hops" and it's a tribute to all those "alligator rastlin'" Florida men with "shark tooth" necklaces and a "rap sheet longer than mama's mustache."
While on the subject of rap sheets, Seth's says he's been arrested before for an open container, trespassing, and obstructing police.
He's now facing charges for disorderly intoxication.
