A labor-and-delivery nurse on TikTok is spilling the beans on the out-right “absurd” reasons why dads-to-be have missed the births of their children, and just think, these are just the ones she has been in attendance for..
In the now-viral video, TikTok creator, @Anna.the.nurse says, “I have plenty of these stories,” in her tell-all she captioned: “Crazy reasons why a father missed the birth of his child.”
In the video, Anna gives a list of the excuses that fathers have used for being M.I.A. while their wives or significant others pushed out an entire human.
Nurse Anna quips that these excuses are in no particular order, but number 1 is triggering me already: “He went to go get food,” she revealed, "he insisted that he did not like hospital food and he went to get fast food — missed the birth of his child.”
The list goes on with despicable reasons, however, the fifth and final father was potentially the most toxic as Anna recalled, “He left the room to talk to an ex who was in the parking lot."
