Born a stray in a backyard in Turkey, Midas' charming personality and completely unique look have turned her into a loveable viral sensation, as Midas the kitty was born with "four ears".

The four-eared feline was part of a litter of seven kittens, but the only one with four ears. A kind human named Canis Dosemeci adopted Midas, assuming that the special kitty might otherwise have trouble finding a good home due to what many would consider a deformity.

4-month-old Midas has only two normal ear canals, but each one has two earflaps, giving her the appearance of having “four ears”.

Wonder where the name Midas comes from? Her new family chose the name Midas referencing King Midas from Greek mythology who was known to be able to turn everything he touched to gold. As told by Greek mythology, Midas offended the god Apollo, who punished the king by giving him donkey ears.

Oh, by the way, the cat has over 82K followers on her Instagram account, so I better step my game up.
