New leadership in the Miami Marlins front office.
The team announcing this afternoon Gabe Kapler has been promoted to General Manager under President of Baseball Operations Peter Bendix. He's the team's sixth GM and had been serving as Assistant General Manager.
Vinesh Kanthan will also now serve as Senior Director of Baseball Operations with Frankie Piliere being promoted to Vice President of Amateur Forecasting and Player Evaluation Initiatives.
