Miami, FL - Lamar Jackson’s return to South Florida ended in dominant fashion as the Baltimore Ravens defeated the Miami Dolphins 28-6 on Thursday Night Football.
The Boynton Beach High graduate completed 18 of 23 passes for 204 yards and four touchdowns, marking one of his strongest outings of the season.
Miami started strong, with Tua Tagovailoa connecting with Jaylen Waddle on a 20-yard pass to set up a 49-yard field goal by Riley Patterson for an early 3-0 lead.
Baltimore quickly responded when a Dolphins fumble gave the Ravens possession, allowing Jackson to find tight end Mark Andrews for a short touchdown on fourth down.
Later in the first quarter, Jackson and Andrews connected again on a 20-yard scoring play to extend the lead to 14-3.
Patterson added a 43-yard field goal before halftime to narrow the gap to 14-6, but Baltimore controlled the second half.
Jackson led two consecutive touchdown drives, one ending with a 1-yard push by Andrews and another with a 3-yard strike to tight end Charlie Kolar.
On the following drive, Jackson hit Zay Flowers for a 39-yard gain before finding Rashod Bateman for his fourth touchdown of the night.
Running back Derrick Henry contributed 119 rushing yards on 19 carries.
Miami’s offense struggled with turnovers, penalties, and missed opportunities.
Tagovailoa finished 25 of 40 for 261 yards with no touchdowns and one interception.
The loss dropped Miami to 2-7, while Baltimore improved to 3-5.
