Police are currently investigating Kanye West or "Ye" for allegedly punching a man seeking the rapper's autograph. The viral video shows the man laid out on the street as an angry Kanye rages at people who apparently work for him.

The alleged assault occurred at approximately 3 AM in Downtown LA, outside of the Soho Warehouse. Judging from the video, Ye looks absolutely livid.

As the video begins West can be heard screaming, "get away from me" at a woman, allegedly West's cousin, who's trying to calm him down. She says, "I am your family," but he continued storming away.

According to TMZ, Kanye asked a small group of people outside the building to refrain from taking photos and mentioned something about them "not understanding what he's going through right now". When someone replied that it's okay and that we all go through family stuff, that's when Kanye allegedly unloaded 2 punches to the man; one to his head and one to his neck.

According to sources, the man had been following the rapper for several days, showing up at various locations where West was seen. He can even be spotted in the background of some of West's paparazzi photos. The man allegedly was relentlessly asking for Ye's autograph. The alleged victim refused medical treatment at the scene but got checked out at urgent care.

He allegedly was still asking for the rapper's autograph even after the assault.
