'Triggered' Driver Accused Of Hit & Run On Fire Truck In Boca Raton

Cops say a driver became "triggered" by a fire truck blocking him in along I-95 and wound up crashing into it and speeding off.

Firefighters were clearing an unrelated crash near Palmetto Park Road when Boca Raton Police say 40-year old Christian Di Orsini yelled at them and backed into the fire engine before leaving the scene. He would later be tracked down using traffic cameras.

He told officers that he was hearing sirens and became "triggered" to the point that he felt he needed to yell at them.

Di Orsini took a breathalyzer test, which failed to detect any alcohol, but a urine sample was taken for testing and cops found probable cause to charge him with DUI and leaving the scene of an accident.
