Two days after addressing a joint meeting of Congress, Israel's Prime Minister will meet with former President Trump.

Benjamin Netanyahu is visiting Mar-a-Lago today and Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw has a message for protesters..."Don't block the roadway!"

"I'm bringing two corrections buses and if you get in the road, that will be the end of your day."

The sheriff says his agency will be working closely with the Secret Service and other law enforcement agencies, including FHP, to ensure everyone's safety.

"We're gonna make sure that it's a good event to have him here because I think it's important but we're on top of the ballgame and things will go very smooth."

Tensions will likely be high after anti-Israel protestors defaced national monuments and burned American flags in Washington, D.C. as Netanyahu was delivering his message to Congress. But the sheriff says this visit is nothing new for PBSO

Bradshaw says the Netanyahu security detail will be similar to when Chinese President Xi Jinping visited Trump in Palm Beach back in 2017, while Trump was still in office.

The sheriff says Netanyahu is expected to arrive around 11 a.m. and stay for two or three hours. Rolling roadblocks can be expected along roadways between PBIA and Mar-a-Lago, including Southern Boulevard to the west of the island, where most of the protestors are expected to converge.

While pedestrians are allowed to view the arrival of the Israeli PM, there are limitations as to where people can stand.

"When you get to Southern Boulevard, over the main bridge, there's another small bridge on the other side. No foot traffic will be allowed to the east side of that little footbridge." He says no foot traffic is allowed on the Palm Beach side of the bridge.

The sheriff said the Intracoastal will be temporarily shut down as a precaution and noted that any vehicles crossing over that bridge to Palm Beach are subjected to multiple security checkpoints.

Bradshaw shared this information during a short press conference on Thursday.
