A not guilty plea was entered on behalf of former President Trump in a Fort Pierce courtroom on Thursday.

The hearing was for new charges in connection to the classified documents case at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Palm Beach. Trump's attorneys notified the judge in the case that he was waiving his right to appear in person.

His valet, Walt Nauta, appeared before a magistrate judge on Thursday to plead not guilty to conspiring with the former president to obstruct the investigation. But the Mar-a-Lago property manager still has not entered a plea.

Carlos De Oliveira was at the federal courthouse, but was granted more time to find a Florida-based attorney. De Oliveira was indicted last month on charges that he was scheming to delete surveillance video at the Palm Beach estate.

He's been ordered back in court August 15th.
