Florida's House Democratic Caucus Leader is calling for Education Commissioner Manny Diaz Jr to resign over the new social studies curriculum saying some Blacks personally benefited from slavery. It all comes after the State Board of Education tweaked teaching guidelines to be in line with Governor Ron DeSantis' "Stop Woke Law" But DeSantis defends the education rule, saying slaves could apply the skills they used for personal benefit.
