Book Giveaway For Books Banned In Miami-Dade Public Schools

A book giveaway on tap tonight with some of the newly banned books in Miami-Dade Schools. Books & Books owner Mitchell Kaplan says everyone is reacting in fear when it comes to Florida's so-called “Don’t Say Gay” law. Kaplan is distributing Amanda Gorman's inaugural poem, The Hill We Climb, which was moved out of the general library at the Bob Graham Education Center in Miami Lakes to the middle school section of the media center. Other community activists are passing out "The ABC's of Black Culture" and "Love to Langston" which are also being challenged by a parent claiming they teach critical race theory, gender identity and indoctrination.
