A change-up for Palm Beach County's only college bowl game.

The 10th annual Boca Raton Bowl will be played on a Thursday night for the first time since its inception in 2014.

All but two of the previous games have been played on the Tuesday before Christmas. Those other two happened on Saturday nights.

But Boca Raton Bowl Executive Director Doug Mosley says "college football fans are very accustomed to Thursday night games throughout the season" so this year's game will be played on December 21st with an 8 p.m. kickoff from FAU stadium.

The game is aired nationally on ESPN.
