The planned "Community Celebration" being hosted for the FAU Owls by the City of Boca Raton has been postponed to next Wednesday, April 19!
The event will honor the men's basketball team for making it to their first Final Four. The Owls lost to San Diego State, but Mayor Scott Singer says the city is proud of what the team accomplished during what he calls their "exceptional season."
The celebration is free and open to the public at the Mizner Park Amphitheater. Doors will open at 5 p.m..
There will be food trucks, games, cash bars, photo ops, music and the FAU band and spirit team will perform. A key to the city will be presented to the team at 6 p.m.
