We're learning more about a plane that crashed in South Florida, killing the two people on board.
The single-engine aircraft had taken off from Williston, Florida, southwest of Gainesville, just before 7:30 p.m. on Sunday. It was scheduled to land at Palm Beach County Park Airport in Lantana two hours later and that's when the plane went down about 1,000 feet from a runway at that small airport.
Rescue crews arrived to find the plane in pieces and on fire.
The two victims were pronounced dead at the scene and their names have not been released.
According to FlightAware, they started the day at 11 a.m. in Henderson City, Kentucky before flying to Florida.
The NTSB and FAA are investigating.
