Miami International Airport Expecting Record Number Of Passengers

A record-setting travel period is underway at Miami International Airport.

150-thousand people per day are making their way through MIA, a 4-percent increase over last year's record-setting pace according to spokesperson Greg Chin.

Chin suggests getting to the airport at least three hours ahead of departure to allow for parking, check in and getting to your gate.

He says so far, parking garages haven't reached capacity, but that could change tomorrow with an influx of travelers.
