Telenovela Star Convicted Of Manslaughter

A Miami-Dade jury has convicted telenovela star Pablo Lyle of manslaughter.

A Miami-Dade jury found Lyle delivered a deadly punch to a 63-year-old man during road rage incident in 2019.

Lyle claimed self-defense, but the jury didn't buy it.

They saw video which appeared to show the Juan Hernández walking away when he was approached by Lyle.

He faces up to 15 years in prison and was immediately taken into custody.

After the verdict, Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle released this statement:

“Today’s jury verdict finding Pablo Lyle guilty of the manslaughter death of 63- year-old Juan Ricardo Hernández shows the outrageous destructiveness of “Road Rage” incidents. Two lives were destroyed by simple roadway anger, a situation we see far too often on our streets and on streets across the country. I am very proud of the efforts and hard work by Assistant State Attorneys Shawn Abuhoff and Gabriela Alfaro that has brought a measure of justice to Mr. Hernandez’ surviving family.”
