Forensic Psychologist Testifies In Nikolas Cruz Sentencing Trial

Prosecutors continue their rebuttal in the Nikolas Cruz sentencing case, trying to disprove the defense's theory that Cruz suffered from fetal alcohol spectrum disorders and had trouble telling right from wrong. Forensic psychologist Dr. Robert Denney examined Cruz at the Broward jail after the Parkland massacre and thinks he fudged some of his answers on cognitive tests. He says Cruz's “premeditated acts of aggression” are characteristic of anti-social personality disorder, characterized by a lack of remorse about hurting other people. The state is expected to wrap up Friday with closing arguments set for next week.
