The mosquito population has increased due to recent rains and Palm Beach County Mosquito Control is planning to spray by plane after sunset on Tuesday.
They are targeting areas west of Military Trail spraying 260,000 acres in Jupiter, Royal Palm Beach, Wellington, and Lake Worth, as well as the Glades.
The spraying will start about a half hour after sunset, weather-permitting.
Meanwhile, residents are being urged to clear their properties of standing water and wearing repellant with the chemical DEET while outdoors after dusk.
