Broward County, FL - A Florida rideshare driver has been arrested after he sexually battered a woman who was unconscious in his car.
42-year-old Glenroy Tannis was arrested by the Broward Sheriff's Office on two charges of sexual battery of a helpless victim.
The details of the allegation against Tannis are unknown, including which rideshare company he worked for.
A judge set Tanner's bond at $175,000 during a hearing on Tuesday.
Prosecutor Eric Linder said "I think it is extremely aggravating, the allegations that he essentially forced himself upon and took advantage of the victim in this case who was passed out at the time."
Linder says GPS tracking records did not match the contradictory story Tannis gave deputies when questioned.
If Tannis bonds out, the judge has ordered that he's not to work for any rideshare company.
