Miami, FL - A South Florida middle school teacher is facing dismissal after he was accused of pursuing a relationship with a former student.
37-year-old Sean Loret de Mola, a teacher at Glades Middle School, has been placed on "alternate assignment" while the Miami-Dade County Public Schools initiate employee termination procedures.
According to authorities, Loret de Mola had been in contact with a former student on Instagram for the past year.
That contact recently turned into conversations of Loret de Mola pursuing the former student "in a romantic manner."
Police say the teacher also went to the victim's work to "court her," bringing her a card and candy and telling her how beautiful she is.
On Saturday, the victim sent Loret de Mora a photo of herself in a bathing suit and he messaged back "thirst trap triggered, well done."
The message concerned the former student and she contacted Glades Middle School to report the incident to the administration.
Loret de Mora was booked into jail with his bond set at $7,500.
