Man arrested for string of vandalism at South Florida churches

POMPANO BEACH, FL - A man's been arrested after a string of vandalism at two South Florida churches.

Surveillance video captured 30-year-old Jehu Cadevil smashing the hurricane impact windows of Saint Nicholas Episcopal Church on Monday, causing over $4,000 worth of damage.

Police arrested Cardevil on Tuesday.

Cadevil appeared in bond court on Wednesday, where authorities realized he also threw a rock at the glass doors of the International Church of the Grace of God in September 2021.

The two churches are located just minutes from each other.

According to police, Cardevil is also accused of throwing a deadly missile into an occupied vehicle.
