Today Is Recommended Deadline For Returning Florida Mail-In Ballots

Ballots For 2020 Presidential Election

(Tallahassee, FL) -- Florida's chief elections officer says residents who plan to vote by mail should do so by today.

Secretary of State Laurel Lee says mail-in ballots must be received by local elections' offices no later than 7 p.m. on Election Day. She reminds voters that the U.S. Postal Service recommends ballots be mailed at least one week in advance. Lee says vote-by-mail ballots can also be dropped off at secure ballot boxes in each county.
