After 71 Years In A Small Indiana Town Butt Drugs Pharmacy Is Closing

Sad news for a small town in Indiana, which is losing its local pharmacy, Butt Drugs. They were family-owned for 71 years and were famous for their Buttshakes.

Over the weekend, they announced that they were closing their doors on April 29th. There were several factors, but the owner said that the biggest problem was "changes in insurance reimbursement over the years."

 

 

Butt Drugs was originally founded by a pharmacist named William Butt, and it stayed in his family for three generations. And over time, they embraced their name and came out with fun merchandise and funny ads like this one here!
