Dana White Says He Had A Deal For Brady, Gronkowski To Join Raiders
Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski on the Raiders? It nearly happened, thanks to... UFC President Dana White???
That's right - White told reporters on Saturday that after Brady left New England in 2020, he put together a deal for Brady and Gronk to join the Raiders instead of the Bucs.
White says it was "almost a done deal", but it was nixed by then-Raiders coach Jon Gruden. Brady would eventually sign with Tampa and win the Super Bowl that year.
The story sounds absurd - but Gronk himself confirmed that it's "exactly what happened".
How would it have changed the landscape of the league if Brady had gone to the Raiders? Would they have won a Super Bowl?
